Descrizione del prodotto

Dysperbit is a dense liquid brown color mass. It is an aqueous dispersion of asphalt in petroleum modified with synthetic rubber, with the addition of emulsifying agents, corrosion inhibitor and substances reducing the freezing point of water.

Destiny

Dysperbit is used for various types of waterproofing coatings, such as:

  • renovation and maintenance of asphalt roofing,
  • seamless roofing based on a single layer of roofing felt,
  • seamless roofing - laminates with reinforcing inserts,
  • vertical and horizontal moisture insulation of foundations, walls and other parts of the building,
  • insulation of bathrooms, laundries etc.
  • performing anti-corrosive protective coatings on elements of steel structures,
  • priming the substrate after diluting with water in a 1: 1 ratio.

Advantages

Dysperbit is sold as a ready-mixed mass, after mixing, for immediate use. It does not require heating - it is used for cold use. Easy to spread with a trowel, brush or brush. Thanks to thixo-tropic properties it can be applied to surfaces of any slope and does not drip during application. It does not contain toxic, volatile and flammable organic solvent, it is odorless.
After drying, Dysperbit creates a black, homogeneous, flexible coating with rubber-like properties, resistant to long-term exposure to water. It is characterized by very good adhesion to building substrates, high resistance to changing weather conditions and flexibility in a wide temperature range from -30 C to +100 C. Due to the high softening temperature of the dispersion coatings, they do not show a tendency to flow from sloping surfaces. Dysperbit does not damage the foam, thus it can be used for coatings in contact with foam boards and for surface protection of foam boards in underground thermal insulation. Dysperbit is approved for indoor use.

Method of use

Dysperbit can be applied manually or mechanically to dry as well as slightly moist surfaces. Work should only be carried out in rainless weather, at a temperature of min. +10 C. The substrate should be initially cleaned of impurities and excess loose powder and the damaged fragment should be repaired in the covering in a traditional way. Before laying the basic layers, the substrate should be primed with dispersion with 1: 1 diluted water. Dysperbit is most conveniently applied with 1.0 - 2.0 m wide strips, in layers with a maximum thickness of approx. 1 mm. Subsequent layers can be applied after the previous ones have dried completely, which is known after the change of color from brown to black (the time of coating formation depends on atmospheric conditions and e.g. at +20 C is about 6 hours). At least two dispersion layers should be used for waterproofing coatings. For roofing, the last layer, immediately after its application, should be sprinkled with roofing powder to increase the durability of the coating. When performing seamless roof coatings, after priming the substrate, the first layer of dispersion is applied in 1 m wide strips. Immediately after application, a reinforcing insert made of glass veil or polyester fabric with 3-5 cm overlap adjacent strips is embedded. It should be noted that the reinforcing insert sits well with the ground and is completely saturated with asphalt. Then, at least two successive base layers are applied at 24 hour intervals, the last sprinkled before drying with tarnish. In an analogous manner, by erecting a reinforcing insert min. 10 cm above the roof surface, protect all protruding elements, such as: chimneys, hatches, firewalls, attics, etc. Approximate dispersion consumption is 0.8 - 1.1, kg / m2 with a single application of 1 mm thick layer. Dysperbit is a non-flammable and non-toxic material. As an ecologically safe material, it does not pose any hazards during work. All dirt and tools should be washed away with fresh water, and after drying with organic solvents (gasoline, kerosene, diesel).

Transport and storage

Dysperbit should be transported and stored in tightly sealed original packaging at a temperature above + 5 C. The mass, due to the water content, loses its useful properties after freezing.

attention

  • Protect from frost.
  • Do not use for tar tar and tarred roofing.
