Transparent, water-dilutable intumescent paint intended for fire protection of wooden structures. A specialized coating is used to reduce the degree of flammability, while maintaining the natural appearance of the wood.

Application

The product is used in various places, incl. in hotels, schools, libraries, museums, offices or public buildings. A single coating can increase the fire resistance of wooden load-bearing elements such as beams, ceilings, walls and columns. Factors influencing the fire resistance of a given wooden element are: shape, cross section, type of wood (deciduous, coniferous, glued, sawn, planed, solid wood), wood density, oxygen availability, as well as the quality and quantity of fireproof coatings. Depending on the above, Promadur increases the fire resistance class of the element in up to 120 minutes (R120). Using the product in the amount of 300 g / m2, the reaction to fire class B-s1, d0 is achieved for the product in: structural solid wood, chipboards and plywood (with a minimum thickness of 12 mm).
